We value trust in God’s grace as the foundation of our relationship with God and with one another.
Without trusting the proclaimed Word there is no relationship.  God’s challenges to us and promises for us are real and true, whether we believe them or not. But believing makes them real and true for us.  By faith, or trust, in God’s communication to us we realize that all is well between us and God.  We have been reconciled to God in Christ.  Trusting that good news transforms us. 
   God graciously lavishes mercy and love upon us and calls us to freedom.  We trust that Jesus has set us free from the power of sin and death and free to love and serve our neighbors.  Faith is the means by which we receive God’s precious gift of resurrection, which only comes through a relationship with God in Christ.  What could be more valuable than that?
   So, people of Hope, make participation in worship a top priority in your life.  And, trust in the Lord with all your heart!
